Today, we're thrilled to announce that we have supercharged our custom domain feature. It's a significant step forward in our commitment to providing a seamless and branded experience for your customers, and we're excited to share the details with you!

We’ve supported custom domains for your Lemon Squeezy storefront for some time. Now, custom domains will work on public-facing pages, including your storefront, hosted and overlay checkouts, our new customer portal, update payment method pages, and affiliate signup and referral URLs.

What’s New?

Merchants using Lemon Squeezy can now flexibly use custom domains for:

1. Storefront: Your personalized Lemon Squeezy storefront can now mirror your primary business domain. For instance, instead of “iconic.lemonsqueezy.com”, it can simply be “iconic.app”.
2. Checkout/Payment Links: Give your customers a consistent branding experience right till the end with custom domain links during checkout.
3. Affiliate Links: Empower your affiliates with branded links, ensuring credibility and trust.
4. Update Payment Methods: The link for updating payment methods can now be customized under your chosen domain.
5. Customer Portal Links: Offer your customers a unified brand experience even when they access their portal.

Important Note for Existing Users

For those who've been leveraging our custom checkout links with custom domains, there’s something you should know:

Previously, our custom domain support was limited to just storefronts. When we expanded this feature to include all customer-facing pages, like checkouts and customer portals, it affected customers using the secure (signed) links from our custom checkouts API. This meant they encountered an “Invalid signature” error.

The good news is, every newly created checkout link will function flawlessly. However, for your existing custom checkout links to work, you'll need to either:

• Turn off the custom domain feature for your store. Or,
• Generate new custom checkout links via the API.

That said, if you create single-use checkout links on a customer-specific basis, breathe easy. You're good to go! Your new links will function as intended.
