New: Add Trials to Subscriptions

Today, we’re excited to announce subscription trials. With this new feature, you can now offer free trials on any of your subscription-based products. This, of course, is a tried and true marketing tactic and now with Lemon Squeezy, you offer free trials with your products with just a toggle.
Once you activate the free trial setting, you can easily configure how long the trial will last (days, weeks, months, years) and you’re all set.
A few points to highlight:
- You can still offer discount codes on the subscription price.
- Customers will automatically see the free trial during checkout, no need to enter a discount code.
- As a store owner, you will be able to see your customers currently “on trial”
- Customers will automatically recieve email notifications when their trial is about to end.
Notification Emails
As mentioned above, customers currently on a free trial of your product will automatically receive an email notifying them of their trial ending soon, and they will be charged with their payment method on file.
