If you create a subscription product in Lemon Squeezy that also has license keys enabled, the license keys will behave in a slightly different manner.

Normally, a license key will expire after the period of time set in the “License length” setting has expired. However, when a product has subscription pricing enabled, the license length setting is no longer available.

Instead, the license key will remain active as long as the subscription is active and will only expire when the subscription expires.

A subscription will only expire if it has been canceled and reached the end of the current billing cycle, or if the payment has failed and can no longer be retried.
